User Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 29 September 2026

If you want your personal data removed from DGT.MNG's systems, request it by email. Deletion requests are handled by our team — there is no automated self-service deletion tool. This page explains exactly how to make a request, what we need to find your records, and what happens next.

How to request deletion

Email info@dgtmng.ae with the subject line “Data deletion request”. You can also use the same address for any question about this process.

What to include so we can locate your records

We can only delete what we can find. Please include at least one way to identify you in our records:

  • the email address you have used with us, and/or
  • the WhatsApp phone number you have used with us, in international format (for example +971 5X XXX XXXX), and/or
  • your full name and the company you represent,

Helpful but optional: which of our services the request relates to, roughly when you interacted with us, and any project, invoice or reference number you know.

Do not send us passwords, identity documents, or the content of other people's communications with this request.

Verification

Before deleting, we may confirm the request is genuine — for example by replying to the email address in our records, or messaging the WhatsApp number in the request. If we cannot verify that the request comes from the person (or an authorised representative) the records belong to, we will explain what additional information we need. This protects you and others from unauthorised deletion.

What we delete, and what we may keep

When a request is verified, we delete personal data associated with your records from our active systems, which can include:

  • contact details (name, email address, phone numbers) and your records as a client, lead or supplier;
  • emails and WhatsApp messages exchanged with you, including attachments;
  • documents we hold that relate specifically to you;
  • notes, tasks and calendar items linked to your records;
  • any other personal data we can identify as yours on request.

Some data may be retained where it is needed for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes — for example issued invoices and financial records, or records we must keep under applicable law. Where this applies, we keep the minimum necessary and tell you what was retained and why. Backup copies are deleted as they expire on their normal schedule.

WhatsApp and Meta

A deletion request to us removes the WhatsApp messages and related data held in our systems. Meta also processes WhatsApp messages as the operator of the WhatsApp Business Platform under its own terms and privacy policy; deleting data from our systems does not remove copies Meta may retain, and your rights and options under Meta's policies (such as blocking our business number) sit with Meta.

Confirmation and timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, and usually sooner. When it is done, we confirm it to you by the same channel you used to contact us. If anything had to be retained, our confirmation explains exactly what and why. If you disagree with our response, reply to that confirmation and we will review it.

Other requests

You can also use the same address to ask what data we hold about you, ask for a copy or correction, or object to a particular use — see our Privacy Policy.
